I'm a postdoctoral researcher in PV-Lab at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland, working on high temperature passivating contacts for silicon photovoltaics. Prior to moving to Switzerland, I was a senior process engineer in the US working on semiconductor lasers. I received my PhD in 2021 from MIT, working with Ivan Čelanović in the Institute for Soldier Nanotechnologies. My PhD research focused on developing spectrally-selective photonic-crystal thermal emitters for thermophotovoltaic applications. My broader interests include photonics and nanotechnology. I received my B.S. in Chemical Biology from UC Berkeley in 2012 and my M.S. in Electrical Engineering from MIT with Dirk Englund in 2015.
